Tricom is able to supply a range of products for the power sector. These include transmission towers, distribution towers and substation structures.

The CNC production lines are ideally suited to manufacturing lattice towers for power transmission lines. Tricom’s assembly capacity and specialized welding capability allow us to manufacture steelwork of a very high standard for substation requirements.

Tricom has been involved in and has the ability to assist with the prototyping of new transmission tower designs. This includes structural analysis and CAD verification of fitment. Tricom has manufactured substation steel structures for the South African power sector and is involved in the installation thereof.
